For my clients that are seeking a divorce, or whose spouses are seeking divorce, I work hard to help them find solutions to the difficult issues of child and spousal support, custody of the children, visitation schedules for the non-custodial parent, and the equitable division of marital assets. I strive to help my clients enter into agreements on these points that take into account their goals and interests as well as the goals and interests of each member of their families.

If the agreements entered into, whether with my office or another firm have been breached I help people collect child support. Prior to visiting my office, many of my clients thought that they would never be able to collect the child support due them because they didn't have enough money to pay a lawyer. My approach to child support collection is different. Under Texas law, the fees paid to a lawyer who is hired to collect child support can be added to the past due amount. So, if necessary, I can take on a case with the client paying only the filing fees. I believe in child support and do what I can to make sure that my clients don't continue to struggle on without it.
